Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out activities and content that are prohibited on the Virex platform (the Service) operated by CivicAI Solutions Pty Ltd. The AUP supplements our Terms of Service and forms part of the binding agreement between you and Virex. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, removal of Generated Content, and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to generate, distribute, host, or otherwise process content that:

• Sexually exploits minors (CSAM) or sexualises minors in any way, including stylised, animated, or AI-generated depictions.
• Promotes violence or terrorism, including recruitment for terrorist organisations, glorification of mass violence, or operational instructions enabling attacks.
• Targets identifiable groups with hateful content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Contains malware: viruses, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, exploit kits, rootkits, drive-by-download payloads, or any code designed to harm systems or users.
• Enables fraud: phishing kits, credential-harvesting pages, fake login pages, scam templates, fake e-commerce stores, fraudulent investment platforms, or impersonation of brands or individuals.
• Facilitates harassment, doxxing, or stalking of individuals.
• Infringes intellectual property: clones of copyrighted sites, redistributes paid content without licence, copies trademarked branding, or evades licence requirements.
• Violates privacy: unauthorised collection or display of personal data, scraping platforms in violation of their terms.
• Is illegal in the jurisdiction where it is generated, hosted, or accessed.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use multiple accounts to abuse free tiers, promotions, or rate limits.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the Service without our written authorisation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from the Virex build engine, slot composer, foundation index, or proprietary tooling.
• Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service without an explicit reseller agreement.
• Circumvent technical restrictions, rate limits, plan caps, or watermarks.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation, except where covered by a written security-research agreement.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or to build infrastructure for sending spam.
• Run automated build farms, CI loops, or other workloads that are inconsistent with normal product-development use.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Virex or imply our endorsement of your product.

3. Acceptable AI / LLM Use

The Service uses LLMs to generate Build content. You may not:

• Use prompts engineered to extract proprietary system instructions or to bypass safety guardrails.
• Use the Service to generate content that violates the LLM provider's policies (OpenAI Usage Policies, Anthropic Acceptable Use Policy).
• Use prompts as a vector to leak personal information about specific individuals.

4. Content You Are Responsible For

You are solely responsible for: (a) the prompts you submit, (b) Generated Content you choose to deploy, distribute, or sell, and (c) compliance of your downstream use with applicable law and third-party rights. Virex is not a publisher of your content and does not pre-screen Generated Content for compliance with this AUP, although we may review specific content following abuse reports or automated signals.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of content or activity on the Service that violates this AUP, report it to VIREX@civicai-solutions.com. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days. For urgent matters involving CSAM, terrorism content, or imminent harm, mark your email as URGENT and we will prioritise.

6. Enforcement

Where we determine (in our reasonable judgement) that an account has violated this AUP, we may take any of the following actions, with or without prior notice:

• Suspend the account and pause Builds.
• Remove Generated Content from our infrastructure.
• Refuse export, download, or deployment requests for the offending content.
• Permanently terminate the account without refund.
• Preserve and disclose information to law enforcement or regulators as required by law.
• Pursue civil remedies for any harm caused to Virex or third parties.

7. Appeals

If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe the action was made in error, you may appeal by emailing VIREX@civicai-solutions.com within 30 days of the action. Provide your account email, the date of the action, and any context you wish us to consider. We aim to review appeals within 5 business days. Appeals will not be granted for clear violations.

8. Changes to this AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect new types of abuse, changes in law, or new features in the Service. Material changes will be communicated to active users and the version string at the top of this page will be bumped.
